When you transfer a domain name registered in another company to Netz0 you are transferring the domain name only. This means that after a successful transfer, your name will be available in your Netz0 account for management, extra services as well renewal. A domain transfer will not transfer your website, files, or other services associated with your site but only the legal domain name registration. You can, of course, request a transfer of those services but by default, a domain transfer only includes the domain name. Your domain transfer will not cause any downtime or interruption to your current website and all DNS settings and configuration will remain intact.

For security reasons, a domain transfer can only be authorized from one company to another by the owner. This means there are several steps required prior submitting your transfer request to Netz0.

Make sure to follow them before authorizing a domain transfer. Click here to read them.

To request a domain transfer from another company to Netz0 follow this steps:

1. Log into your Netz0 customer account.

2. Click Products on the top menu, then click Transfer Domains to Us.

3. If the extension requires a secret transfer code, enter it in the field called EPP Code. Configure any extra services or add-ons for your domain name (optional) by selecting them and then click on the Continue button.

4. Review your order and if everything is ok press the green Checkout button to go to the last step.

5. Finally, select the payment method desired and click the Complete Order blue button to finalize your order.

Once your payment is received and approved, your domain transfer request will be submitted to the current company that handles your domain name which can approve or deny the transfer. We are going to contact you in both cases. Please wait until you receive an email from us, the whole transfer process can take up to 7 days.

That’s it! If your domain was transferred successfully you can now manage it from your Netz0 account just like any other domain registered with us.
