Domain names are registered on the Internet for as long or as short as you want. They are not recurring services and do not have to be renewed. If for some reason you do not want a domain any longer, make sure Auto Renewal is disabled in your account for that domain and ignore the email renewal notices. Once the expiration date arrives, your domain will be automatically deactivated and there is no further action required.

Consider that if you lose a domain, in most cases the process cannot be reversed.

As opposed to other services, you do not need to notify the cancellation of a domain name. You can just let domains expire in your account, and they will be made available for other people.

If you want to cancel a domain before its expiration date, open a billing ticket, and we will disable the domain for you. The domain will still be actively registered to your account until its expiration date but will not be usable. After some time, the domain will be completely gone from your domain management list. Additional services attached to a domain name like redirection, DNS and others are also cancelled as they are unique per registered domain.
