This Schedule applies to applications installed or ordered through Netz0's app catalog on a qualifying hosting service. App hosting is not standalone: it runs on a Cloud Sites (web hosting) plan or a cloud server, and this Schedule layers on top of the schedule governing that host. Where this Schedule conflicts with the master Terms, this Schedule prevails for app-layer matters; the host service remains governed by its own Schedule.

1. Two Layers, Two Sets of Rules

Every hosted app involves two layers. The host layer — the web hosting plan or server underneath — is governed by its own Schedule (Web Hosting, Managed Cloud Servers, or Unmanaged Servers) and does not change because an app runs on it. The app layer — the application itself — is governed by this Schedule. Moving an app between hosts (for example, from Cloud Sites to a cloud server) changes which host Schedule applies underneath; the app-layer rules below travel with the app.

2. Unmanaged Apps (Default)

Apps installed from the catalog are unmanaged by default: Netz0 provides the installer and initial deployment; from that point the application — its updates, security patching, configuration, extensions, and content — is your responsibility, regardless of whether the host underneath is managed. An outdated or compromised app is your responsibility, including abuse originating from it (per the AUP). Hands-on help with your apps is available as IT Services.

3. Managed Apps

Selected applications can be ordered as managed apps, where Netz0 operates the application itself — installation, updates, patching, and monitoring — and you use it. Managed apps are available only for the specific applications offered as managed in the catalog, and only on a qualifying host service. Even for managed apps, your content and data within the application, and how you use it, remain yours and your responsibility. The management scope for each managed app is described in its catalog listing.

4. Third-Party Software and Licenses

Catalog applications are third-party (or Netz0-published) software with their own licenses. You are responsible for complying with the license of each application and any extensions, themes, or add-ons you install. Where commercially licensed software is offered through Netz0 (such as control panel licenses), the vendor's license terms apply in addition to this Schedule. Netz0 does not warrant third-party software — its fitness, security, or compatibility — beyond the management duties expressly included for managed apps.

5. Data

Your application data lives on the host service and follows the host Schedule and the master Terms for export, cancellation, and deletion.
